LIFE

The speaker came into class with more than a handful of advice. He started off kind of boring I must admit. He explained what he did but it seemed to move slow. His main advice was speak out. I was impressed with his ability to voice his opinion at such a young age. I was also suprised that people were open to listening and willing to get together to make a change. As his speach came along he asked very meaningful questions that made me think deeply about why I am here. It also made me think about what I was going to do with this gift of life which was given to me. When he asked ,"What do you want on your tombstone?" That really hit me. I began to think what I was going to do with my education. I feel a need to help people. I want to help either the elderly or children. I feel a need to protect them. I hope that I can help at least a few people and make a difference in their lives. I also began to think how I wanted to be remembered. I would like to be remembered as a good person pretty much what everyone wants. I hope that people can say that I was always there for them and showed that I cared. I want to go against the majority and speak up for what I believe needs to be changed. I am so glad that I was able to hear this man speak. It opened up my eyes to what is truly important in life.
